Elevating Standards & Credentials When I first took office, only one staff member held professional certifications. Today, I am proud to report that 9 of our 13 auditors hold advanced credentials (CPA, CIA, CFE, or CISA), with more on the way. I have also successfully worked with the state legislature to mandate GAGAS auditing standards for Salt Lake County and to require that future County Auditors possess necessary professional credentials to run. We are ensuring this office is led by qualified experts, not just politicians.
